FORT PIERCE, FL (September 25, 2024) - ÁùºÏ²ÊͶעÍøÕ¾ is proud to announce Clayton Young as the September 2024 Team Member of the Month. Young serves as the Transcript Coordinator in the Credit Evaluation & Graduation department at ÁùºÏ²ÊͶעÍøÕ¾.
Young joined the College in March 2022 as a Transcript Evaluation Specialist and was promoted to his current role as Transcript Coordinator in June 2023. His exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment to supporting both students and employees have earned him this well-deserved recognition.
"Clayton goes above and beyond in every aspect of his role. His dedication and work ethic make him deserving of this recognition," shared colleagues who work closely with Young.
In his role, Young collaborates with multiple departments overseeing selective admissions to ensure timely evaluation of students' post-secondary transcripts. His thorough assessments of potential candidates facilitate their admission to programs, directly contributing to increased enrollment at the College.
Young's expertise extends to various aspects of the articulation process, including credit by exams, course equivalencies, and evaluations. His leadership in training colleagues on transcript assessment techniques has significantly enhanced the team's proficiency, resulting in more accurate and efficient evaluation processes. Beyond his primary responsibilities, Young actively participates in college-wide events and committees, including the Career Expo, New Student Orientation, and Staff Senate, demonstrating his commitment to the broader College community.

The Team Member of the Month Award recognizes non-instructional employees at Indian River State College. Nominations are evaluated by the Employee Recognition Committee, comprised of College staff members, faculty, and administrators.
